Since 1998, one family home at a time.
Cinema Systems is Morgan Millward's passion: nearly three decades of private cinemas, whole-home automation and relationships that span generations.
More than forty years in the craft.
Morgan began working with electronics and home systems more than forty years ago, and founded Cinema Systems in 1998 to design private cinemas. The industry has moved from surround sound to fully automated homes, and Cinema Systems has moved with it. Today Morgan works with a small, trusted team and is still personally involved in every project, without ever changing his standards.
Today Morgan still leads every project personally, working alongside homeowners, builders, architects, interior designers and estate managers from the first drawing to the final walk-through.
The first cinemas
Morgan Millward founds Cinema Systems, designing and installing media rooms and home theatres across Toronto.
The whole home
As homes become connected, the work grows to multi-room audio, lighting control, networks and security, and Morgan builds a trusted team around him.
Cottage country
Clients bring us to Muskoka and Georgian Bay. Remote alerts keep lakeside homes safe through the winter.
Second generations
Estates, new builds and lakeside residences, many for families we first worked with decades ago.
Quiet technology. Lasting relationships.
The best systems are the ones you never have to think about, installed by people you can always call.
Listen first
Every home is different, and so is every family. We design around how you live, not around a product catalogue.
Honest advice
Sometimes the right answer is to spend less. Clients tell us that is why they come back.
Built to last
Premium equipment, immaculate installation and proper documentation, backed by a lifetime labour warranty.
“Morgan was extremely helpful, giving me insight into the install and product in my new-to-me home… he was in no way pushy when it came to upgrades or sales. On multiple occasions he made suggestions that would actually result in me not spending money with him, but would achieve my goal.”
